"Lethal Legacy" by Irene Hannon

As part of Revell Books' Blog Tour, I had the opportunity to review "Lethal Legacy" by Irene Hannon.  "Lethal Legacy" is the third book in the Guardians of Justice Series.  Even though I had not read the first two books in the Guardians of Justice series, there was plenty of background information to understand who all of the characters were in this book.

From the first page my attention was grabbed.  As the characters were developed and described, I was able to figure out a key element; however, I was still captivated by the story.  Having three special needs children doesn't allow a lot of time to do things for myself, but I have decided to go back to one of my passion, by reading books for fun and not educational and/or about my children's diagnoses.  I planned on reading a couple of chapters at night before bed, but could not bring myself to put "Lethal Legacy" down at the end of just a couple chapters and spent a lot of nights reading multiple chapters to the point I was up way too late!!!!

Here is some background information on the author, Irene Hannon:
Irene Hannon is the author of more than 35 novels, including the bestselling Heroes of Quantico and Guardians of Justice series. Her books have been honored with two coveted RITA awards from Romance Writers of America, a Carol Award, a HOLT Medallion, a Daphne du Maurier Award and two Reviewers' Choice Awards from RT Book Reviews magazine. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
For more information about her and her books, visit her web site at www.irenehannon.com and follow her on Twitter at @IreneHannon. And the description of the book is as follows:
Kelly Warren is on a mission to prove her father’s death wasn’t suicide, but Detective Cole Taylor doesn't put much credence in her claim. Nothing in his case review suggests foul play until Kelly ends up in the emergency room with a suspicious life-threatening medical condition. The incident strikes him as more than just coincidence. Digging deeper, he discovers she's linked to a long-ago crime. Is history repeating itself? And who wants Kelly silenced?
I have since read the first two books in the Guardians of Justice Series as well as the first book in the Heroes of Quantico series and have been captivated by all of them!

If you are interested in suspense romance type books, these are definitely the books I would encourage you to turn to!!!!
