Book Review: "Vanished" by Irene Hannon

In December I received an e-mail notifying me of another Revell Books blog tour.  When I opened the e-mail, I was thrilled to see that it was Irene Hannon's most recent release, "Vanished."  Since I read, "Lethal Legacy" back in August as part of Revell's blog tour, I have read many books by Irene Hannon and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this new book and new series. To say I was not disappointed would not do it justice! This book was AMAZING!!!!!

From the first few pages, the mystery and suspense pulls you in and grabs you to the point that you do not want to put the book down until you get to the very last page.  Even though the mystery was revealed near the middle of the book; there was a lot of questions surrounding how how that fact was going to be proven.  And to say too much more about the book would give too much away.  So all I'm going to say is read this book!!!!  I will, however, share with you the description from the back of the book:

Reporter Moira Harrison is lost.  In the dark.  In a thunderstorm.  When a long figure suddenly appears in the beam of her headlights, Moria slams on her brakes -- but it's too late.  She feel the solid thump against the side of her car before crashing into a tree on the far side of the road.

 A man opens her door, tells her he saw everything, and promises to call 911.  Then the world fades to black.  When she comes to, she is alone.  No man.  No 911.  No injured person.  But she can't forget the look of terror she saw on that face in the instant before her headlights swung away.  And she can't get anyone to believe her story -- except maybe a handsome ex-homicide detective turned private eye, who reluctantly agrees to take on the case.

As clues begin to surface, it becomes obvious that someone doesn't want this mystery solved -- and will stop at nothing to protect a shocking secret.
