Book Review: "When a Secret Kills" by Lynette Eason

A few weeks ago I had received another e-mail from Revell Books for another blog tour invitation.  This time it was to review Lynette Eason's latest book, When a Secret Kills.  I promptly responded that I wanted to review this book.  This book is the third book in a three book series and I had been anxiously awaiting it's release.  I had read book 1, When the Smoke Clears, and read and reviewed book 2, When a Heart Stops, which you can read here.

Lynette Eason is the bestselling author of several romantic suspense novels, including When the Smoke Clears, When a Heart Stops, and the Women of Justice series. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and Romance Writers of America. She has a master’s degree in education from Converse College and she lives in South Carolina. When I started reading When a Secret Kills, the action and suspense captured your attention immediately.  You didn't know what to expect and wanted to keep reading and not put the book down so that you can make sure that the characters that you had come to know through the series were safe.

At the end when the person responsible was revealed, I had no idea that was who it was.  I was pleased in the fact that I was able to be surprised at the end and there weren't too many clues to reveal who the bad guy was until it was revealed as part of the story line.

In my opinion, this was a wonderful book.  Ms. Eason has a writing style that can pull a reader into the story line and as a part of this series you really got to know all of the characters involved.  This story was very action packed.  I was left wanting more!

I am so glad that I have been able to read these books and think that anyone who enjoys suspense stories would enjoy them as well.

When a Secret Kills is available at your local or online bookstore.

I was provided with a copy of When a Secret Kills to review. My review is my own thoughts and has no way been influenced by any one.
