A Very Busy and Stressful Summer - Part 2

Knowing that Cassidy needed to be kept very busy, I worked very hard leading up to the summer to make sure she had things to do through various camps over the summer.

Cassidy spent almost two weeks with Tony's parents in Arizona - without ending up in the hospital this time - and then came home to spend a week at our church's day camp.  The next week she and Caleb spent at Camp Barnabas.

Then when we came home, she was supposed to spend a week at YESS Camp with Caleb for Sibling Week; however, she ended up with her first acute psychiatric hospitalization this summer.

After she came home, there was a week where Cassidy didn't have a camp, but she had a psychiatrist appointment, a dentist appointment and spent time with her case manager.

The next week Cassidy went to 911 Camp through the small police department where the kids go to school.  Then she spent a week at an education academy that was done through our church where she did science activities and a reading program.

We then had signed Cassidy up for two weeks at Maize Rec's summer program; however, she only went one week due to her second acute psychiatric hospitalization, which ultimately led up to Cassidy's psychiatric residential treatment center admission.

I am blogging about that over at a different blog, to keep a little more private so that I know who is actually reading it.  If you are interested in reading that, please let me know by sending me an e-mail at cassandra.sines@gmail.com so that I can send you an invitation.

I will write another post about Steven's summer!!!
